Group lessons in a welcoming learning environment

Whether you are just beginning to learn European Portuguese, an advanced beginner, or intermediate learner, you can be sure to progress in OnTrack Online group classes. We offer group classes with a maximum of 12 students and smaller groups are sometimes available on request. We are running in-person classes in Cabaços, central Portugal, too. ABOUT ON-TRACK ONLINE COURSES

This innovative study method combines videos, pdfs and flashcards for you to learn from in your own time, PLUS a weekly hour long group online session with a teacher. In class each week, after the initial group session where the teacher, Emma, will go through the materials, pronunciation, clarifying anything and answering any questions, you will work with a partner doing structured speaking activities based on the material. Your teacher will give you instant feedback on your progress. And you can ask questions on the material and check that you are on the right track. There are a maximum of 12 students per class.

We know that the more often you study, the better it sticks. We make sure your learning is varied and structured to motivate you to study your Portuguese at least a little every day. With this approach, you will be amazed at how soon you will start to see progress! 

€75.00 for 3-months (Trimester)

(A limited number of single screen discounts for couples is available on each course too).

WHen?

Group classes are normally held on Wednesdays or Thursdays.  Each course runs for 12 weeks in 3 modules of 4 weeks. Study materials are sent in advance of your next class.

juggling a BUSY SCHEDULE?

The flexible and effective structure is suitable for adults with busy schedules. The modular learning environment allows you to take a break if you have to, and re-join at the beginning of any module when you can. Get in touch to inquire.

Level A1.2 (1b) (moving on from beginner)
Level A1.3 (1c)  (introducing the present tense)
Level A2.1 (2a) (getting more independent)
Level A2.2 (2b) (continuing to develop skills)
Level A2.3 (2c) (introducing the past tenses)
Level B1.1 (3a)  (putting it all together)
Level B1.2 (3b) (understanding and expressing better)
Level B1.3 (3c) (moving on and starting the subjunctive)

There are also occasional mini-groups running, of up to 5 students, following the same structure as the normal group classes. Get in touch to enquire if this is of interest.
